Nigerian citizens have responded following the disclosure of Mohbad’s father, Joseph Aloba, embracing a new career path.
Aloba, the father of the late singer Mohbad, announced that he has transitioned into a rapper, as evidenced by his involvement in an upcoming unreleased song.
It is worth noting that Aloba recently sparked controversy online when he requested financial assistance from Nigerians through a GoFundMe campaign.
This action received criticism as numerous donations had already been made following Mohbad’s passing.
In light of this, Nigerians have taken to social media platforms to express their opinions regarding Aloba’s decision to pursue a career as a rap artist.

Joseph Aloba, the father of late musician Ilerioluwa Olademeji Aloba, also known as Mohbad, has pledged to uncover those who murdered his son.
He claims to know who killed his son. Mohbad died in dubious circumstances on September 12, 2023, and was put to rest the next day.
However, after a public outcry for a full inquiry into his unexpected death, the body was unearthed roughly a week later for an autopsy.
While the postmortem results are still pending, Mr. Aloba has publicly indicated that the person responsible for his son’s murder is someone close to him.
In an audio clip that circulated on social media, he promised to expose the identity of his son’s killer shortly.
“I know who killed Mohbad. The person is someone close and I will tell the world soon,” he was heard saying in the viral audio.
