In a poignant video, Joseph Aloba, the late singer Mohbad’s father, was filled with emotion, tears running down his cheeks as he listened and vibed to one of his yet-to-be-released songs.

Just lately, on Monday, Mohbad’s mother, Abosede, made bombshell charges against Aloba, stating that he is not the late singer’s real father.

She accused Aloba of being a “thief” who seeks to profit from Mohbad’s death.

Abosede also gave Aloba three days to take a DNA test to establish whether he was Mohbad’s father.

Following Abosede’s accusation becoming viral, Aloba was filmed in a new video performing one of his unreleased compositions while openly crying at intervals as he dealt with the circumstances.

In the song, Aloba asks why people like creating stories about him. Singing in Yoruba, he expresses surprise, questioning what he has done to deserve the “hate and criticism” showered at him.

Aloba complains that he no longer knows who supports him, feeling betrayed and unable to discern between his family and his foes.

Madame Joyce asked:

Is Wizkid an inspiration to you?”

“Yes now, all the artists are, anywhere I am I pick something from them but Wizkid is like my biggest inspiration.”

“What’s the vibe of the new song?”
