Portable has once again stirred up controversy, this time directing his criticism towards his senior colleague, Zinoleesky.
In response to a video showing Zino cruising in a Ferrari, Portable called him out for spending lavishly on the luxury car despite not having a hit song.
He suggested that Zinoleesky should sell the car and invest the money in promoting his music career instead.
Portable even took a dig at Zinoleesky’s failure to share his wealth with fans, referencing a past incident where Zinoleesky had physically assaulted a fan asking for money.
He said:
“He’s driving a Ferrari when he’s not blown, you’re supposed to sell the car and use the money for promo. He doesn’t have a hit song and he’s driving a Ferrari.
How much is Ferrari? If they had fixed these Sango roads, I would buy it. What haven’t I seen? See someone with one car disturbing the area, what should someone like me with several cars now do? Me that I buy new cars every month?”.
In other news, Nigerian socialite Pretty Mike has praised singer Portable as the “Man of the Year,” while condemning those who consistently criticize the artist’s character.
Pretty Mike’s post, featuring Portable and his wife Bewaji, highlighted Portable as the standout individual of the year. Pretty Mike directly addressed the singer’s detractors, especially those who criticize him for his perceived roughness and question his appeal to women.
Pretty Mike defended Portable by stating that what truly matters is a man’s ability to provide for his family, which will always be attractive to women regardless of their outward appearance.
He stressed that Portable’s commitment to supporting his family, including covering rent, school fees, and other essentials for three women, distinguishes him from those who may seem more polished but fail to fulfill their familial responsibilities.
