Obi Cubana, Pete Edochie Attend Burial Of Businessman Chukwudi Nnaji’s Dad

Obi Cubana, a well-known Nigerian business mogul, and Pete Edochie, a renowned actor in Nollywood, were among the distinguished guests who attended the burial ceremony of Amos Nnaji.

Amos Nnaji was the father of Chukwudi Nnaji, the CEO of Rowe Oil.

The burial ceremony commenced last Friday with a solemn service of songs. The event took place in Awkunanaw, Enugu South LGA, and was graced by a multitude of dignitaries from various walks of life.

Notable personalities in attendance included Jim Nwobodo, the former governor of Anambra state; Ken Nnamani, the former senate president; and Uche Nnaji, the minister of innovation, science, and technology.

Also present were Christian Ugwu, the Nigerian ambassador to Poland, and Kelvin Chukwu, the senator representing Enugu East senatorial zone.

The guests were entertained by Kola Boy, a talented musician, who delivered an exceptional performance of his popular songs.

During the event, Chukwudi Nnaji expressed his gratitude to all the guests and extended his appreciation to God for the successful burial ceremony.

On Sunday, the family held a Thanksgiving service at St. John’s Methodist Church in Awkunanaw. The funeral service, which involved expressions of sympathy and other rituals, proceeded on Wednesday.

Nnaji announced in a press release that his father passed away on March 12, 2024, at the age of 76.

“With profound gratitude to God for a life well lived in service to God and humanity, and in total submission to His divine will, the family of Nnaji Nwaga Nnaji Umu-Ude Agayiba Ndiagu Amaechi Awkunanaw announces the glorious transition to eternity of their brother, husband, father, uncle, grandfather, and patriarch Late Chief Amos Nnamchi Nnaji (Ezeakonaobi 1) aged 76 whose death occurred on the 12th of March 2024,” the statement reads.

Meanwhile, Nigerian actress, Rachael Okonkwo penned a heartfelt message as she commemorated the belated birthday of her late colleague, Junior Pope.

She expressed her longing to reach out to him on his special day, a tradition they had maintained in the past.

Despite considering his departure as a harsh joke, she humbly accepted that she could not challenge the divine plan of God.
