Pere Egbi, a former contestant on Big Brother Naija, responded promptly to actress Etinosa Idemudia’s claims of unpaid debt by quickly settling the amount owed in full.
The incident arose when the Edo-born actress took to her social media account to express her frustration over a former BBNaija housemate who allegedly failed to deliver on a job after receiving payment.
Etinosa even went as far as to mention involving law enforcement if the reality star did not return the money.
She wrote:
“Abeg BBN fan base Abi shippers Abi what do you guys call it. E get one of una fave wey dey owe me money since last year oooo. Make una donate money give am make he pay me Na. What is all this nonsense. I thought BBN graduates are rich.
“As a mother I’m more mature than calling people out on social media. Na police station your fave go see himself. Nonsense fake life broke ass Ozuor. No wonder my babe dumped you. Omo lomo… I’m so pissed! Baba is speaking all sorts of rubbish English.”
Etinosa Idemudia took to social media hours later to share another post, disclosing that Pere, the BBNaija star, had settled his debt with her and refunded the owed amount.
Nevertheless, she issued a cautionary message to the actor, emphasizing that they do not belong to the same league in the industry.
She wrote:
“Payment received IN FULL. Dear @PereEgbi if you know you can’t do a job you were paid for, respectfully refund without stress. It helps your integrity. P.S. I am not your mate in this industry.Cheers❤️.”
“We allow bad behaviour too much in this industry. If you can’t keep to your agreement with a producer, don’t take his or her money. Nobody plucks money from trees. Keep your bad stinking work ethics at home when you come on set. Etinosa Idemudia 2024. God bless us all.
“I HAVE NO RESPECT FOR WHO HAS NO RESPECT FOR HIS OR HERSELF. I NO WELL. no let my motherhood journey and calmness make you forget who I am!! Please if you have no respect for your work do not take my casting call. If I call you sef, block me!! Ogun dey kee you.”
Remember that Etinosa publicly disclosed her first marriage experience in January 2024. She stated that exactly one year ago she was going through hell in her marriage.
The actress, who has been married twice, described how she struggled in her first marriage due to her inability to produce children. She also stated that at the time, she believed she was the problem.
She also questioned why, in Nigeria, women are usually the ones who face criticism from their spouses and family for their failure to conceive.
Sending an inspiring message, the movie star, who received her first kid three years ago, utilized herself as a point of contact for people waiting for the fruit of the womb, particularly those suffering from PCOS, as she was.
Etinosa also addressed her second failed marriage in a TikTok video, when she broke down in tears and poured out her heart.
The actress said that her marriage ended shortly after she gave birth to her daughter and that her spouse left her.
