Specifically, she called them out for failing to fulfill their promise of awarding her all the prizes she was entitled to, even two years after the show.
During her callout, she disclosed that she had not received her BTC award or her fully-funded trip abroad, among other things.
However, in a recent update, Phyna took to Instagram Stories to share videos of herself finally enjoying her luxurious trip to the Maldives.
It should be noted that Quidax had initially promised to give Phyna 1 Bitcoin (BTC) as part of her prize package, but two years have passed without this commitment being fulfilled.
Following Phyna’s public dissatisfaction, representatives from Quidax approached her with an N13m offer, claiming that it represented the value of 1 BTC in 2022 at the time of their initial promise.
In a recent video shared on social media, Phyna revealed her decision to reject the monetary offer and instead demanded the promised 1 BTC, which is now valued at over N90 million.
She also emphasized her right to a couple’s trip to the Maldives, which was another part of her prize package.
Phyna stated:
“I am standing on my Maldives trip for two. So I’m waiting to get my tickets for Maldives. You can’t give me Kenya or Morocco as options to pick from. I can fund my trip if I want to go to Kenya or Morocco.”
Phyna detailed her encounter with Quidax, during which she received N13 million, supposedly matching the 2022 rate of 1 BTC. Disputing this, she remembered her findings from November 2022 showing 1 BTC valued at N22 million, contradicting their assertion of N13.8 million.
Upon further investigation, she confirmed that 1 BTC was around N19 million during that period.
“Also, Quidax said they will give me N13m; the rate of 1 BTC in 2022. Before I countered that, I reminded them that as at when I checked in November 2022, 1 BTC was N22m but they insisted that it was N13.8m. So I referred to my Google and it showed me that 1 BTC was about N19m in November 2022.
“If Quidax had given me my 1 BTC in 2022, today I will be having about N96 million sitting in wallet. Now you are telling me that you are going to give me N13m, so what happens to all my lost in the past two, three years?” She stated.
