Iyabo Ojo has answered those seeking to know if she wants to remarry and give marriage a second chance.
The popular actress said she does not intend to enter into another marriage.
As a divorced mother of two, she has expressed that her focus is not on marrying her current partner, Paul Okoye, also known as Paulo, but rather on finding companionship.
In a post on her Instagram page, the talented movie star shared her thoughts.
The movie star wrote:
“Marriage – done and dusted. Had kids – done and dusted. Raised my kids – done and dusted. Next stage: Enjoyment! Enjoyment! Enjoyment!”
In response to an inquisitive fan’s question in the comment section about how she would react if her partner, Paulo, proposed marriage, Ojo clarified that they share the same perspective on the matter.
Addressing another fan who criticized her for “misleading young women by not having faith in marriage,” the actress clarified that she never stated that she didn’t believe in marriage.
She explained that she had portrayed that role before, but it didn’t work out for her, and she doesn’t wish to experience that again. She desires to cherish her life with her soul mate.
Recall that, Faith Morey, a Nigerian reality actress who participated in the second season of the Real Housewives of Lagos franchise has broken her silence following accusations that she wants to snatch co-star Iyabo Ojo’s boyfriend, Paulo Okoye.
Faith Morey, who previously discussed her desire to return to the Real Housewives program, also revealed details about her present relationship with Iyabo.
Faith Morey refuted claims that she was trying to become engaged with Iyabo Ojo’s partner, Paulo Okoye.
She said:
“Well, it is not true. I do not want anybody’s man. You know, I am a single girl. I have been single for the past eight years.
I was divorced. Nobody knew that. Unlike other celebrities, that their whole business is online. You know, I am very casual with my ex-husband.
I have a great kid to raise. ‘She wants your man’.
Then the final episode was, ‘She wants to get close to you’. Like, you can see the pattern. People lie. They cannot keep up with it. He will be alright.”
Regarding her strained relationship with Iyabo Ojo and whether or not she intends to return for a third season of RHOLagos after the conclusion of season two,
“Let me tell you something, your haters are actually your students. I think even after filming, when we see at events, we will go, ‘hi’, ‘hello’, we will still do kisses. But when I watched the show, like the first three episodes, I was like, ‘hell no’, that is not going to work. I cannot be hugging up a snake.”
“… I think you have to be psychologically strong and mentally mature for you to be on a show like that because it can take a toll on you. But I also said on the show that after I left my marriage, I worked on myself for six, seven years.”
