Nigerian actress, Eniola Ajao has been slammed by a woman who claims to be Bobrisky’s sister.

The lady expressed disappointment with the actress for abandoning the crossdresser in the custody of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission.

Bobrisky, who has been involved in various controversies recently, was arrested at Pinnock Estate in Lagos state on Wednesday, April 3, 2024, for allegedly misusing the naira at actress and Filmmaker Eniola Ajao’s Ajakaju movie premiere and has been held at the Lagos Command of the EFCC since then.

In a social media post, Bobrisky’s supposed sister criticized several individuals, including Eniola Ajao, whom the crossdresser reportedly went out of his way to please and add glamour to their event.

She accused most of Bobrisky’s friends and beneficiaries of abandoning him to suffer in EFCC custody.

The woman stressed that her brother became the transgender and crossdresser he is today out of necessity to earn a living, and urged against judging him based on this choice.

Meanwhile, Chidi Odinkalu, a former Chairman of the National Human Rights Commission, has criticized the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission for detaining crossdresser Idris Okuneye alias Bobrisky.

He viewed Bobrisky’s arrest as a misuse of authority. Recall that Bobrisky was arrested in Pinnock Estate in Lagos State on Wednesday, April 3, and imprisoned at the EFCC’s Lagos command office.

The EFCC said on Thursday on its official Instagram page that its operatives had launched an inquiry into Bobrisky for allegedly spraying Naira notes.

According to the statement, the EFCC invited the 31-year-old crossdresser after a video was released showing her spraying and flaunting wads of fresh Naira notes at the ‘Ajakaju’ movie premiere, produced by Nollywood star Eniola Ajao, on March 24, 2024, at Film One Circle Mall in Lekki, Lagos.

Odinkalu responded in a post on X, saying the authority of arrest and prosecution is a public trust that should not be used to pursue individuals they dislike.

He wrote:

“The @officialEFCC shd be ashamed of themselves. The power of arrest & prosecution is a public trust that shd not be weaponized for the persecution of those whom they don’t like. It is either @officialEFCC is evidently idle or this is clear #AbuseOfPower.
Ystday, @NigeriaGov & @NERCNG hiked energy beyond the reach of most #Nigerians. Today, @officialEFCC orchestrates a lynching of #Bobrisky.
“Ppl who can no longer afford electricity are hailing them because, apparently Bobby is responsible for their poverty.
Bobrisky is responsible for rigging ur elections; corrupting ur courts; looting ur Treasury; sending the Naira sky-high; recruiting & paying #BokoHaram & the bandits. He must be the problem with #Nigeria.”
