Meanwhile, Morayo Afolabi Brown, a Nigerian television celebrity and broadcaster, has responded to the latest issue involving popular crossdresser Bobrisky.According to Etikonaija, celebrities gathered at Circle Mall in Lekki on Sunday evening to celebrate the launch of Eniola Ajao’s film Ajanaku: Beast of Two Worlds.

Bobrisky surprised many by emerging as the Best Dressed Female at the movie premiere, thanks to multiple amazing costumes. Following his success, the crossdresser received N1 million naira.

Morayo Brown responded to the reaction following his triumph on the current episode of Your View, saying that Nigerians had no right to criticize Bobrisky. She provided reasoning, stating that as long as the crossdresser has not committed any laws, he is free.

Morayo went on to query why Nigerians were upset by him, pointing out that the crossdresser had undergone surgery to alter his gender.

She wrote:

“Bobrisky is a good example of the Nigeria factor. On one hand, Nigerians are saying we are against this and it’s 14 years if you are caught trying to be with the same sex, (there is no law against crossdressing), and on the other hand we scratch around it.

When she goes for a competition, why are we feeling offended because has changed her private parts and is a woman? This is my own stance, as long as she hasn’t broken any law, or has been arrested for anything then we have no right to criticize Shim for winning a competition that Shim offered herself to”.
