Burna Boy Rejected N1bn Performance Fee – Mr Jollof

Nigerian comedian and show promoter Freedom Okpetoritse Atsepoyi, well known as Mr. Jollof, has made what appears to be an absurd claim.

He said that musician Burna Boy turned down N1 billion to appear at a concert organized by him and other investors in Warri, Delta State.

He stated that they approached the musician’s team with an offer of $1 million (N1.3 billion), which his team refused since it was less than what the singer charged.

The comedian revealed this in a recent Instagram post.

Mr Jollof wrote in pidgin English,

“Me and some investors reached out to Burna Boy’s team for a concert in Delta State for One Million US Dollars (1.3 billion Naira today’s rate). Guess what? They said it’s too small.

 

“Burna Boy no dey Nigeria lane again oo because we didn’t utilise him enough before he was exported to global music market. No jokes.”

Recall also that Timini recently impressed a lady who openly announced her wish for him to be her Valentine.

The woman, known as Moyo, made her intentions obvious in a viral video that drew the attention of many on social media.

Despite Timini’s initial reservations about being her Valentine, he graciously promised to lavish her with presents and fulfilled his promise.

The exchange between the two took place on Twitter, causing a stir among fans and followers.

The long-awaited encounter eventually occurred at a movie premiere, when Timini personally presented Moyo with a gorgeous bouquet of roses.

The wonderful interaction was caught in a video that rapidly went viral, gaining even more attention.

Moyo took to social media to express her excitement upon receiving flowers from the star.

Timini responded by appreciating her reaction.

The actor commented, “Glad you liked them; you look lovely.”

Fans and well-wishers swarmed social media with congratulations for Moyo, thanking Timini for his thoughtful act.
