Popular reality television personality, Phyna has revealed the only reason she will stop calling out Multichoice, the organizer of the Big Brother Naija reality show.
She said Multichoice should fulfil the promises they made to her during the show.
In her latest statement, she has made it clear that she is demanding her Bitcoin (BTC) worth over N90 million and the promised trip to Dubai.
It is worth noting that Phyna had previously called out Big Brother Naija and Multichoice for their failure to provide her with all the prizes and money she had won during the show.
In addition to this, the Practitioners of Content Creating Skit-making and Influencers Guild of Nigeria (PCCSIGN) had also sent a memo to Multichoice, urging them to fulfill their outstanding obligations to Phyna.
In a recently circulated video, Phyna detailed her ongoing correspondence with Multichoice and their continuous failure to respond to her. She emphasized that the two most important things she desires from her prize money are the promised trip to Dubai and the award of 1 Bitcoin, which is currently valued at N90 million.
Taking to her Instagram story, she pleaded with Multichoice to cease contacting her and instead reach out to the renowned talent manager, Mike Premium.
Recall that Josephina Otabor, also known as Phyna, the Season 7 winner of Big Brother Naija, has responded to claims by Ilebaye, the Season 8 winner that she got paid her prize money in full.
Ilebaye’s statement came shortly after Phyna openly lashed out at the organizers of the reality show for withholding part of her money.
Phyna, who reacted on social media, implied that Ilebaye violated the gender code by stating she had received her entire reward money.
She also stated that she would continue to seek her balance, citing that she worked hard for the money during the show’s 72-day run.
Phyna posted this on her X handle:
“Them girls take a chill pill. I’m happy y’all got your money in full according to you, seems I’m being cheated on then. Women supporting women in the mud.
“I believe I should at least get what I worked so hard for 72 days. Y’all suddenly remembered your alert screenshots and IG Live………… Common……one among others is 1BTC which is over 80m in today’s market.
“To those who got their money in full..I’m happy for you. As poor man pikin, make I ask for my money and things wey remain…..”
Meanwhile, Multichoice has announced auditions for its ninth Big Brother Naija reality show which will soon kick off. Multichoice shared the news on its X page on Tuesday. It also revealed how interested individuals can audition for the show.
According to the statement, audition applications will be accepted starting today, Wednesday, March 27, 2024, at 8:00 p.m.
In a fresh twist, the organizers announced that competitors for the forthcoming ninth season will audition in pairs.
According to the organizers, auditioning pairs can be close friends, family members, love partners, or any other combination representing a “dynamic duo.”
The post states, “Exciting News!” Biggie returns for #BBNaija Season 9 auditions with a twist! The audition requires two persons.
The statement reads:
”This year, its a search for Dynamic Duos that love the show and can turn up the heat in Biggie’s house!
”Can you make a Dynamic Duo? Simply swipe and follow the instructions!
”Auditions open, 27th March at 8pm!’
”Contestants are encouraged to submit a three-minute video showcasing their personalities, strengths as a duo, and why they should be in the house for BBNaija Season 9.”
