Nicki DaBarbie, a well-known TikTok influencer, has finally spoken out after being released on bail following her recent arrest. She has addressed the allegations of cyberstalking musician Skiibii, which have caused quite a stir.
After spending a fortnight behind bars, Nicki DaBarbie secured bail. However, the controversy surrounding her arrest has not died down and continues to be a topic of discussion.
The arrest stemmed from accusations made by the influencer against Skiibii and another artist, Mayorkun. She claimed that they had drugged her to use her for a ritual.
In her most recent social media post, Nicki DaBarbie expressed her frustration, stating that she always seems to end up in trouble whenever she tries to defend herself.
She went on to criticize the justice system, suggesting that it tends to favor those who are wealthy and popular, often overlooking the truth and evidence.
Nicki DaBarbie also mentioned that her live video during the incident may have been what saved her from a worse fate.
In her own words;
“Whenever I speak up for myself I get thrown in prison. If you threaten my life, I’ll still call you out, prison or no prison.
The system is messed up. It’s who is more popular and has more money they would side with, even with all your evidence. Who knows what would have happened if I hadn’t quickly gone live that day.
Maybe my dead body would have been found on the roadside just to keep me silent. Grateful to God almighty for my life. Each time I trust a man, they show me shege banza.”

Recall that Mayorkun, a Nigerian musician, has expressed his intention to take legal action against the controversial influencer, Nicki DaBarbie, for spreading false accusations about him.
He made it clear on his social media platform that he had never crossed paths with the influencer, let alone tried to drug her.
Despite her current detention, he remains determined to pursue legal charges against her. It is worth noting that Nicki DaBarbie had previously accused Mayorkun and Skiibii of attempting to drug her and involve her in ritualistic practices.
In response to these allegations, Mayorkun stated:
“You know, I was going to let this remain as a court case but when I checked the comments under some of the blogs where these ridiculous allegations were posted, I was quickly reminded of how gullible most people are on the internet and how they are ready to run along, spreading any negative news without any form of clarity.“Just for the record, I never met that person on the said day, still never seen that person till this day, never knew about that person’s existence not until those allegations came up.. yet she claimed I put ‘something’ in her drink.A lot of people believed that story and you think I’ll let this libellous claim fly? Hell fucking NO!
