Wofai Fada, a well-known comedienne, media personality, and movie actress, has been actively promoting her wedding on social media, despite facing disapproval from her husband’s family.
In an Instagram post on Saturday, Wofai Fada announced her marriage to Taiwo Cole, accompanied by their pre-wedding pictures.
However, the Cole family released a statement distancing themselves from the marriage, stating that they were unaware of the plans and did not give their consent or support.
Unconfirmed reports suggest that Taiwo Cole’s father rejected the marriage due to the significant age difference between the couple.
Despite this statement, Wofai Fada seemed unfazed and shared their pre-wedding video on her Instagram account the following day, captioning it with “Let love lead.”
Furthermore, Wofai Fada expressed her love and commitment through her Instagram story, where she shared Bible verses that emphasized the power of genuine love over the opinions of ordinary people.
In summary, Wofai Fada continues to promote her wedding on social media, disregarding the disapproval from her husband’s family.
She remains steadfast in her love and belief in the strength of true love, as demonstrated through her posts and captions.
She wrote:
“There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear. For fear has to do with punishment, and whoever fears has not been perfected in love” (1 John 4:18).”
“Yesterday, we saw that as we abide in love, we can be sure we abide in God (1 John 4:16).”
In other news, Nigerian singer, Yemi Alade has questioned the Lagos State government over the rise in the demolition of buildings in the state.
She expressed worry about the negative influence on the country’s real estate value and the loss of hope among residents whose little investments in a better life had been squandered.
She asked the administration to consider alternate options, emphasizing the need to improve how such situations are addressed.
She said:
“Lagos State, what’s going on? Does it make sense that people will invest millions of naira and dollars into real estate; buy houses and lands and the state government will demolish the place and render people homeless overnight?
“This thing is happening repeatedly. Right now, Maryland, Mende area is on fire. People are sleeping in their houses, waking up the next day, homeless.
“You’re ruining the real estate value of the state and country, making people lose trust not only just in the idea of Nigeria but lose hope entirely in the little coins they saved to make their lives worthwhile. How is this okay? Why why?”
