Doyinsola Anuoluwapo David, popularly known as Doyin, a former Big Brother Naija reality star, has publicly criticized Wizkid for seeking attention from other celebrities.

This comes after Wizkid engaged in a social media feud with Davido earlier in the week. Doyin advised Wizkid to stop chasing clout and instead concentrate on producing new music.

She also condemned Wizkid for showing disrespect towards Don Jazzy. In a post on her Instagram account, she expressed her disapproval of Wizkid’s behavior.

She wrote:
“Don Jazzy is still the JayZ of the Nigerian music industry. If you try to disrespect him, it just shows your head is not correct. No be to dey chase clout, drop hit!”
Similarly, Tacha, a reality TV star and media personality, has cautioned Wizkid against making any derogatory remarks or showing disrespect towards Don Jazzy.
In a video posted on her social media, Tacha emphasized the important contributions Don Jazzy has made to the Nigerian music scene.
She asserted that the Afrobeats industry owes a great deal to Don Jazzy, stating that it wouldn’t be the same without him.
Tacha said:
“No Don Jazzy slander will be tolerated. Don Jazzy’s impacts on the entertainment industry can never be overemphasised.
“If you have to take off Don Jazzy’s inputs on the industry, that would be you taking half of Afrobeats away. Because who would you be listening to? Don Jazzy has grown a lot of global superstars.
“This is somebody that doesn’t restrict himself to the music industry alone. Don Jazzy is there for everybody regardless of their status.”

While some have viewed the term as an insult, Mr Macaroni argued that how it was used was disrespectful, and anyone who thinks otherwise would be hypocritical.

He highlighted Don Jazzy’s positive impact on the entertainment industry through his influence, noting that he has benefited from it.

Mr Macaroni also described Don Jazzy as the most significant influencer in Africa, providing free advice and visibility to emerging artists.

In his statement, Mr Macaroni wrote:

“Donjazzy is perhaps the biggest Entertainment Influencer in Africa. And the beautiful thing is that his influence cuts across. From music, to contents, films, brands etc.

However, we would all be hypocrites to say that the context in which he was called an influencer isn’t disrespectful to everything he has done and is still doing for the Nigerian Music Industry.

An absolute legend. He promotes Music Artistes even outside his record label. Gives free advice and visibility to up and coming artists, shows love to everyone irrespective of their status. I am also a beneficiary of his phenomenal influence!

Don Baba J!!!! Your Influence Choke!!!”
