Clara Chizoba Kronborg, a Nigerian woman, has achieved a remarkable feat by breaking a world record. She has set a new record for the longest interviewing marathon, lasting an impressive 55 hours and 24 seconds.
Residing in Spain, Clara’s incredible accomplishment surpasses the previous record holder’s time of 37 hours and 44 minutes. Her success is attributed to her talk show on YouTube, which has gained significant visibility.
Clara’s upbringing in Onitsha, Nigeria, marked by relative poverty, has greatly influenced her perspective on success. She expressed her astonishment at the idea and concept of achieving greatness.
To showcase the diversity of talent and experiences, Clara carefully selected 90 candidates from various nationalities, backgrounds, and professions for the extensive 55-hour interview.
In Clara’s own words, this extraordinary achievement has not only brought her fulfillment but has also provided a platform to celebrate the uniqueness and accomplishments of individuals from all walks of life.
“This record attempt was about bringing together diverse individuals, sharing their inspiring narratives, and forging meaningful connections on a global scale.“I am committed to amplifying voices, particularly those of hardworking women, and using their stories to inspire others facing similar challenges.”
To manage the significant amount of water she was drinking, Clara opted to wear adult diapers throughout her record-breaking endeavor.
“Even worse, my period started the same day, and I was already having intense menstrual cramps,” she revealed.
“At some point I was literally dripping pee and period stain, but I persevered and kept my eyes on the goal. To anyone who ever reads this, once you find your purpose, go after it with everything you’ve got.”
Clara experienced neck and back pains, which were alleviated by her team through massages during her breaks.
She battled drowsiness at various times but found a sense of rejuvenation each time she started interviewing a new guest, as she was excited to listen to their story.
Despite facing numerous challenges, Clara believes that enduring it all was worthwhile, describing the feeling of now holding the world record as “surreal.”
“Recalling everything I went through physically, mentally, financially, emotionally – it feels so unreal,” she said.
“I am extremely proud of this accomplishment because I know lives have been touched and changed.
“This achievement is dedicated to all those who dare to dream and persist, regardless of the challenges they face.
As a result, she has not only achieved the Guinness World record but has also become one of the prominent Nigerians who have brought their country to the forefront on the global stage.
