Timini Egbuson Dragged Online After A Derogatory Post About Unilag Girls Resurfaces

Nigerian actor Timini Egbuson has been forced to deactivate his X account after an old tweet he made surfaced online.

He had taken to X in 2011 to write something derogatory about University of Lagos girls.

The Tribe Called Judah actor wrote a tweet on how to easily get University of Lagos (Unilag) girls sleep with men.

A boat ride is the key to enticing a Unilag hottie to sleep with a man, according to a tweet from the 36-year-old actor. According to him, the trick he employs to sleep with UNILAG girls works like magic.

Egbuson Timini tweeted:

“Unilag babes will off pant for you immediately you mention boat cruise… It’s like magic!!.”

But soon after Timini’s previous remark went viral and gained him popularity, the actor took the drastic measure of deleting his Twitter account.

The Nollywood actor tweeted 13 years ago, and many Nigerians responded, with some of them treating him with grace. When he posted the post, several of them remarked that he was much younger.

He disclosed the most recent episode of the Menisms Podcast. He claimed that the fierce competition that Nigerian women face when it comes to dating makes it preferable to date them overseas.

He said:

“I honestly feel like, and this is me talking from my personal experience, I feel like you’d get a better dating experience from a Nigerian girl living abroad than a Nigerian girl living here.

 

My reason is this [is] Nigerian girls living abroad, in London, America or Canada are the minority in the dating pool over there. There are so many more ethnicities, so there are options and I don’t know if the average guy out there is looking for a Nigerian babe to date.

 

So when a Nigerian babe abroad catches you, you’re honestly the catch and she’d take care of you and she’d be happy to take care of you. A lot of Nigerian girls and a lot of my friends are baddies, I know that if they were in Lagos they would be on their phones checking who to go on dates. But they’re out there on dating sites in other countries.

 

When they catch a Nigerian man who has the same values as them, who understands their jokes and wants to watch the same shows, you’re the prize. But over here, they have options. Even the ones that aren’t the best looking”.
