Nancy Isime, a popular media personality and film actress has been named Africa’s Rising Star at the Ikon Awards, which took place in Uganda recently.
This category is a significant accomplishment because it includes all African actors. Osita Iheme, commonly known as PawPaw, got an award, and Ramsey Nouah attended the award ceremony.
Nancy Isime celebrated her triumph on Instagram with the following caption:

Recall that the popular Nollywood actress stormed Instagram a few weeks ago to celebrate winning the Trailblazer Award category at the Silverbird Awards ceremony.
She took to her Instagram page and wrote:
“TRAIL BLAZER Still basking in the beauty that is Last Sunday Night
These slides only tell a fraction of how blessed I felt and still feel”
The actress and television personality in other news returned to social media following a break to address an unknown health condition.
Isime stated her delight at returning, displaying not only a revitalized attitude but also fresh skin and an outstanding figure.
In a recent statement, the actress admitted that it may take some time to fully restore her momentum, but she is grateful for the support of her countless fans and followers during her absence.
Isime did not go into depth about the health condition that triggered her absence, preferring to remain discreet about the nature of her illness.
Despite the intrigue surrounding her personal life, notably her suspected romance with actor Timini Egbuson, Isime did not openly address the alleged split.
However, rumors say that the actress left her relationship with the celebrity actor due to irreconcilable differences.
