Meanwhile, Grammy winner, Burna Boy has ridiculed senior colleague Eedris Abdulkareem over a statement he recently made.
Recall that Burna had some time ago said nobody helped him in the industry.
Many people were shocked by the statement.
However, during a recent interview with the Honest Bunch podcast, Abdulkareem said Burna was stupid to hold such a view.
“You hear someone like Burna Boy say nobody helped him in Nigeria. That is a stupid talk,” he said.
Reacting in a now-deleted post on Twitter, Burna wished Abdulkareem death.
He wrote:
“Abdul Kareem abi wetin dem call your papa, I no blame you, I blame people wey pay for your hospital bills.
“And I wish say you be person wey fit dey enter the kind places where I dey dey. Make we use mistake jam.”
Burna Boy also spoke about his current view on marriage, stating why he has yet to marry or establish a family.
The Grammy-winning performer explains why he decided to postpone his marriage.
In a widely circulated video, Burna Boy said that the key reason for his single status is because he has yet to find the appropriate spouse.
The artist revealed his desire to settle down but highlighted that he is waiting for divine direction when selecting a life mate.
“If God says make I marry, I will marry. Na God dey do all, me I just dey follow. I don’t hate nobody, I just don’t like it when they use lies and agendas,” Burna Boy said in the video
Recently Joeboy declared Burna Boy a legend. According to him, the Grammy winner is a legend of the music industry.
He said this in response to Burna Boy’s most recent ground-breaking success. This comes after Burna Boy became the first African musician to sell out Toronto, Canada’s Scotiabank Arena.
