Nigerian musician Tobechukwu Victor Okoh, also known as Peruzzi, has vowed to sue a social media user.
It happened that the X influencer had fabricated a tweet claiming that it came from Peruzzi.
In the said tweet, the singer had called out his record label boss, Davido, for cutting him off because of his alleged romance with his wife, Chioma.
Reacting, Peruzzi disowned the viral doctored screenshot that suggested he sent a damning tweet against Davido.
Following his reaction, @belikebaddy, the social media user responsible for the doctored screenshot, apologized to Peruzzi and Davido on Thursday and pledged not to repeat his actions.
“I apologize for posting an edited tweet which involved @peruzzi and @davido. I take full responsibility for all my actions have caused, and I promise it’ll never happen again. My apologies to DMW Management,” he wrote.
However, after reposting the apologetic tweet, Peruzzi stated that he would still pursue legal action.
The singer wrote:
“Yall retweet this, so he can have money for court.”
In another post, Peruzzi said:
“God forgives, I do too. But not this time. F**k that.”
