Joseph Aloba, the father of the late Nigerian musician Mohbad, has publicly shared his reasons for requesting a paternity test for Liam, Mohbad’s son with his wife Wunmi.
During a recent interview, Aloba expressed his suspicions that his wife’s lover may have had a hand in Mohbad’s passing.
He emphasized the necessity of a DNA test to verify Liam’s biological father. Aloba mentioned that Wunmi had previously alleged that Mohbad was her first sexual partner, raising doubts as to why she is hesitant to undergo the DNA test.
Additionally, Aloba highlighted that Liam’s bow legs are not a common trait in the Aloba family, further fueling his uncertainty about the child’s paternity.
Aloba implored Wunmi to determine the true father of the child and conveyed his sorrow for the passing of Mohbad. He denounced individuals whom he held accountable for his son’s premature demise.
Additionally, Aloba emphasized that he does not view Liam as his grandchild, as Mohbad never recognized Liam as his offspring during his lifetime.
Aloba is appealing to the Nigerian community to assist him in seeking justice for his son’s death.

Wunmi, the spouse of the deceased vocalist Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, widely recognized as Mohbad, has categorically refuted recent speculations implying that she privately carried out DNA examinations on her son, Liam.
In direct contradiction to the circulating rumors within specific media platforms, Wunmi firmly stated that the assertions of her arranging DNA testing at two undisclosed facilities are entirely false.
On Thursday, she unequivocally denied the allegations, affirming, “It is a Lie,” during her conversation with SaharaReporters.
Wunmi initially consented to proceed with the DNA test, but she has now changed her stance and firmly stated that she is no longer willing to entertain the idea of conducting the test.
Resolutely, Wunmi emphasized that it is solely her late husband, Mohbad, who possesses the authority to request a DNA test from her. She ardently declared that Mohbad was her first and sole intimate partner, affirming that he was the one who took her virginity.
