On his X page, renowned singer David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has made a noteworthy assertion.
According to him, ever since he became a part of the Nigerian music industry, it has never experienced a state of tranquility.
Davido openly expressed his fondness for the chaos that prevails within the industry. This statement was shared by him on Sunday, accompanied by his written thoughts.
“Since I came in the game dem never get peace .. I love it ! Make I find somewhere with beach go relax.”
The head of DMW has claimed in the past that certain individuals in the music industry are conspiring against him.
“Me vs the industry! Love it!,” he wrote via X in 2022.
Davido made his debut in the Nigerian music industry by releasing the hit singles ‘Back When’ and ‘Dami Duro’ from his first studio album, ‘Omo Baba Olowo’ (2012).
Ever since then, he has emerged as one of the prominent figures in the new wave of Afrobeats, along with Wizkid and Burna Boy.
In various interviews, Davido has openly expressed that he does not share a friendly bond with both Wizkid and Burna Boy.
During an interview, Davido, the popular Nigerian music artist, revealed an intriguing story about how he managed to accumulate a significant amount of $600,000 from his dedicated fans during his birthday celebration.

After acquiring a luxurious Cullinan car, the singer took to his social media platform, playfully requesting financial assistance from his legion of supporters to cover the customs clearance fees for his new vehicle upon its arrival in Nigeria.
Highlighting the exorbitant costs associated with importing cars into the country, Davido appealed for contributions, which unexpectedly sparked a tremendous outpouring of generosity from his devoted followers.
The singer expressed that the response to his appeal surpassed all expectations, with fans from far and wide coming together to support him.
With just one post, Davido was able to mobilize his fanbase, resulting in an overwhelming influx of monetary contributions amounting to $600,000.
While participating in the Ventes Rap show, Asika was questioned by the interviewer regarding the lack of Davido’s collaborations with Burna Boy or Wizkid.
“How come we don’t see Davido featuring Burna Boy or Wizkid?”
“There have been collaborations, Burna Boy and Wizkid have a song, Davido and Kizz Daniel have a song, Davido and Olamide have a song, Asake is on David’s album, so the big artistes in Nigeria work, they might not collaborate as often but they do.Collaboration is one of the major things that have pushed Afrobeats to where it is.”
