Yemi Alade, the Afrobeats singer, has issued a cautionary message to her supporters. She urged them to refrain from excessively prying into the affairs of others.

Yemi Alade emphasized that if this behavior continues, individuals will inadvertently become entangled in those very issues.

She advised individuals against interfering in the troubles of others, as doing so consistently will eventually transform them into a burden for the individuals they intend to assist.

“Getting too involved in people’s problems will make you a problem in their eyes eventually,” she wrote.

In other news, Yemi Alade, a celebrated Nigerian singer, has revealed why she’s hardly recognized in the Nigerian music industry even though she has been very successful over the years.

The singer disclosed that, at one point in the industry, everyone in the industry wanted to have s3x with her in the hopes of gaining bigger prospects.

Yemi Alade claimed that because she decided to forgo having s3x with anyone, she was immediately denied access to several privileges.

She urged her followers to consider why, despite having the highest number of views and subscribers among Nigerian female artists on YouTube, she hardly ever receives attention from award ceremonies.

Yemi Alade revealed:

“There was a time in the industry when everyone wanted to sleep with me and it was like, ‘Yemi, if you don’t do this, you won’t have that. Today men is the reason I don’t win award in Nigeria.

….going down with men was like a bridge I had to cross to get on some platforms, get some deals and even awards. When I made my decision never to engage in sexual activities for gains, lots of opportunities were automatically blocked for me.

Ask yourself why Yemi Alade who is the most viewed and most subscribed Nigerian female artiste on YouTube gets almost no recognition from award shows year after year. Even during twitter debates, no one mentions Yemi Alade as one of the biggest female artistes in Nigeria.

They really blocked everything for me. But l’m glad coz l have my dignity, I have my life, l’m making cool cash and above all, I have fans who love me so much…”

The singer in other news took to Twitter to lament about the current economic situation of Nigeria.

She lamented the high price of foodstuff, building materials, rent, etc. According to her, while all these are rising, the salary of civil servants hasn’t changed.

She wrote:

“Food prices are going up,
Building material prices are going up daily,
School fees are going up,
Salaries are still the same
House rent is going up …
God Abeg!!!
On Monday, Cement was #5,300
On Wednesday, Cement was #5,800
On Friday, Cement was #8000 ….
God Abeg!!!”
