Davido, a Nigerian Afrobeats singer, has acknowledged his senior industry colleagues’ sacrifices.
While discussing his first international agreement with Sony, he noted that he has been inspired by the sacrifices of renowned musicians like Tuface Idibia, D’banj, and PSquare.
The “Feel” singer discussed this in a recent interview, where he also discussed how Sony Music signed him for his first worldwide deal in 2016.
He admitted that he still needed to reintroduce himself to the managers.
The singer stated that he had to record an album with the Sony group, and because they were the ones who signed him, they selected the producers and other members of the music team for his production.
He remarked that the album was a flop by his standards and that he had to return to Nigeria to work with his producers since the others did not understand African music.
Davido stated that the current importance of Nigerian artists is due to the previous generation’s hard work and that the current generation’s works would benefit the following generation.

In the other story, Actor Uche Maduagwu praised Davido’s baby mama, Sophia Momodu, on his Facebook page for inspiring single mothers.
Uche Maduagwu criticizes well-known musician Davido for allegedly not being a devoted and loving father.
In an open letter on Instagram, he claimed that the DMW boss abandoned Imade, the first child he had with Sophia Momodu.
It should be mentioned that after hearing reports of threats against her and Tiwa Sav@ge, Sophia sent a “cease and desist” letter to the DMW leader through her lawyers. Her baby daddy, she alleges, bullies and harasses her online and supposedly pays websites to publish awful things about her.
Uche Maduagwu addressed their family issue and acknowledged single moms’ challenges, especially in Nigeria. He praised Sophia Momodu’s bravery and resilience.
He then went up against Davido, making it seem like the artist did not give Imade the kind of attention a child her age should receive from her father.
The social media critic informed Sophia that Imade will succeed and that her story has inspired many single moms.
In his words; “Dear Sophia, It’s Not Easy Being A Hardworking Single Mum, Your Story Has Inspired So Many Single Mum’s In Naija.
You Have Kept Quiet For A Long Time, But Sharing Your Story Don Make Nigerians Know The Truth. You Are A Great Mum.
Every Pikin Deserve Their Baba Attention, Dear Sophia, Don’t Worry, Imade Is Destined To Be Great In Jesus Name.”
