Aurelien Tchouameni, a footballer and midfielder for Real Madrid, has revealed that he started listening to Davido at 10.
He claimed that he started listening to the musician’s songs at the age of ten.
Tchouameni declared that his favorite African musician is the singer from “Unavailable.”
In the most recent episode of The Bridge Show, which included Davido as a guest, the 24-year-old said.
He declared:
“When I was 10 years old, I used to listen to Davido. Don’t get me wrong, I am not saying he is very old. His first song that I listened to was ‘Back When.’”Davido inferred, “I started young though. I was very young when I released some of my hit songs. I am 31 now. I was 17 when I released ‘Back When.’”
The “Feel” singer discussed this in a recent interview, where he also discussed how Sony Music signed him for his first worldwide deal in 2016.
He admitted that he still needed to reintroduce himself to the managers.
The singer stated that he had to record an album with the Sony group, and because they were the ones who signed him, they selected the producers and other members of the music team for his production.
He remarked that the album was a flop by his standards and that he had to return to Nigeria to work with his producers since the others did not understand African music.
Davido stated that the current importance of Nigerian artists is due to the previous generation’s hard work and that the current generation’s works would benefit the following generation.
Davido said in a recent interview that he didn’t have money or fame when he first met Chioma. He claimed that it would have been difficult for him to get married now if he hadn’t met Chioma at that time since he would have felt that every lady would have wanted him for his wealth or position.
Davido claimed that knowing that the majority of the people in his close circle were there before he became well-known and wealthy makes him happier.
“I have a friend, anytime I am on the phone with my wife, he would say he has everything in the world, but a wife is what he is missing.
