Nigerian actress, Uchenna Nnanna has advised singles.

The actress, best known for her role in the film Bond of Bondage, encouraged unmarried people to properly prepare before beginning their matrimonial journey.

In an interview with Punch, she explained that while many of her friends married before her, she didn’t let it upset her because she married on her schedule.

Uchenna Nnanna stated that while it is vital to seek God’s advice before making such a significant decision, marrying a nice partner is essential.

In Uche Nnanna’s words:

“People are not being prepared for marriage, and they are not defining what they want. Are you getting married because your mates are getting married? Or are you getting married because you feel you are ready for it? Most of my friends got married before me, but I got married on my own time, and today, I am enjoying my marriage.”

Uchenna Nnanna added the following items to do and be aware of before getting married:

“It is important to seek the face of God before getting married. For the females should watch their partners. How does he treat his sisters and his mother? That will tell you how he will treat you.

“For the men, they should observe the way the lady they want to get married to treats others, and even beggars on the street. How does she treat children running around your compound?

“Those are the things that will tell you the kind of person she is. It will be hard for a man who treats his sisters and mother well to hurt one. When one is married to a kind partner, there will always be a way to sort things out when there is a crisis.”

In other news, Oluwadolarz, a Nigerian musician and content producer, has made a claim against his fellow content creators.

He claimed that several of his friends in the comedy industry failed to support his career.

He claims that he has previously accommodated and aided them.

Oluwadolarz said that there is no love in the profession, as some would have people think.

In a recent interview with Echoo Room, the skit creator expressed disappointment that his friends in the content creation sector did not support his first EP despite his outreach.

He specifically said that Sydney Talker and Lord Lamba, who formerly lived with him, did not support him.

He stated that his experience has inspired him to create a documentary that would highlight his life narrative and the lack of assistance in the content creation sector.

Oluwadolarz explained:

“I am working on a documentary. It’s going to be about my story; people that I’ve supported in the industry that did not turn up for me.
“I dropped an EP and not one single skit maker or comedian supported it despite reaching out to them. Funny enough, I still support them when they reach out to me even after I dropped my EP and they didn’t support.
“When Sydney Talker came to Lagos, he lived with me for like three, four months. So Sydney is a friend of mine. We were close at the time but he didn’t support my music. Nobody supported my music.
Bae U just posted it on his story that I just dropped an EP and that was all. Officer Woos shot a skit with me to promote the EP but I couldn’t post it because it would be the only promotional video as other skit makers weren’t ready to support me.
I was supposed to shoot another skit with Shanks to promote the EP but I called and he said he was busy so I just had to let it go. Even Lord Lamba. Funny enough, he was living with me at that point. He came as a guest for my birthday and he started living with me. And I’m so happy for him now. Looking at him now, he is so big in the industry now.”

The Nollywood star advised Nigerians who were dissatisfied with their lives abroad to come home.

Uchenna Nnanna deliberately targeted Nigerians in the United Kingdom who create films about the expense of living, difficult work schedules, and other issues they experience.

She mentioned this in a video broadcast on her Instagram page, advising those already overseas not to bother Nigerians’ ears.

Uchenna Nnanna captioned this video:

“All these Nigerians in diaspora especially those ones in the United Kingdom biko nu. Make we hear word abeg, if Una no wan stay again biko. Pack your bags and come back home.”
