Nigerian music producer Ezeh Chisom, also known as Rexxie, has cried out for help on social media.
He appealed for help after disclosing that he was taken into custody by Ugandan immigration.
He posted on his Instagram page on Monday morning, March 11, claiming that his arrest was unjust and that he should be freed. Reactions to his post on the internet were divided.
Some asked him whether he was carrying any illegal substances, while others urged him to get assistance from well-known Afrobeats musician Ayo Balogun, better known as Wizkid.
He wrote:
“I’ve been arrested at the Ugandan 🇺🇬 immigration.
PLS I NEED HELP!!
This is so unfair! HELP HELP HELP!!!
#UgandaFreeRexxie.”

In other news, music producer and songwriter commonly referred to as Rexxie, recently announced his engagement to his sweetheart, Chisom Innocent.
The 29-year-old announced the news in an Instagram post on Thursday, March 7, alongside photos of himself and Chisom showing off her engagement ring.
Rexxie proposed to his lady, Chisom, in a restaurant in Kenya. Rexxie revealed they have a wedding to organize and suggested it will take place in 2025, according to his hashtag.
He captioned the photographs,

Rexxie rose to prominence after producing the song ‘Jogor’ for Zlatan, which featured Naira Marley and Lil Kesh.
He has gone on to collaborate with some of the best artists and produce numerous additional successes, including ‘Able God’ by Chinko Ekun starring Lil Kesh and Zlatan, ‘Am I A Yahoo Boy’ by Naira Marley featuring Zlatan, and ‘Mafo’ by Young John featuring Naira Marley, among others.
