Bewaji, the first wife of Nigerian musician Habeeb Okikiola Badmus aka Portable, has made a stir after reacting to rumors of domestic violence in her marriage.
Recall that Portable turned 30 on Tuesday, March 12, 2024, and Bewaji took to social media to congratulate him with a heartfelt message.
However, her joy was short-lived when a troll commented on Bewaji’s post, claiming that Portable beats her up but she chooses to stay in the marriage.
The troll, agbajedeboraha wrote:
“Amazing nd he dey give you serious beating☺️😂anyways long life to him😂😂.”
It wasn’t long after the troll made the domestic violence accusation on Bewaji’s post that the young mother responded.
In reaction to the troll, Bewaji challenged the netizen to leave a remark on their genuine page. She didn’t stop there; she asked the troll about their marriage.
Portable’s wife claims that she is still living in the singer’s home since she has children and does not want to have many children from multiple fathers.
Bewaji further stated that she is prepared to take anything in Portable’s house to ensure her children’s future.
Bewaji responded:

Bewaji’s reaction to reports of being battered by Portable generated a lot of stir online.

Recall that On Feb 13 Bewaji, the wife of Nigerian music singer Portable, denied allegations of domestic assault. According to reports the mother of two had been violently beaten by her husband. Photos depicting her wounded body circulated, as did screenshots accusing the musician of abusing her.
Recall also that his baby mama, Keji, had accused him of often hitting his wife. Given this, many people believed that the musician was physically aggressive towards his wife.
Bewaji responded to the charges on Instagram Live, questioning how her spouse can beat her while he is not in the country.
In a series of photos on her Instagram story, she described how people are attempting to ruin her husband’s life and job because they cannot afford necessities.
Challenging the rumor mongers, she ordered them to submit a video of her husband abusing her, claiming that the photographs circulating were from an accident scene last year. Bewaji said that her Instagram account was hacked months ago and she had to make it private.
The mother of two went on to say that she and her spouse do not have any troubles and that she owes no one an explanation.
She wrote:

I dey come with full gistBut this evidence no clear, una supposed to post the video where he dey beat me steady.
This picture is from when I had an accident last year but Alhamdulilah.Some months ago them even hack my account. Just got it back that’s why I private my account till now the more una talk rubbish about us the more our glory keeps shining.
