Olori Tobi Phillips, wife of the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, has revealed what she passed through during her recent pregnancy.
According to her, she experienced moments of panic during the 18th week of her pregnancy.
However, Dairy Kitchen Lover’s social media pregnancy announcement video inspired her.
She shared the video,
She wrote:
“Hey guys, so I’m two weeks Postpartum today and I thought to share some of my experience trying to conceive and during pregnancy with y’all. But, I may not be able to start from the beginning, so I might as well pick up stories from in between, however, the spirit leads me.I’m gonna be speaking about my 18-week pregnancy, then I saw a video of Dairy Kitchen Lover, where she was telling her family and friends about her pregnancy and everybody was rejoicing and praising God with her. During that time I was a bit scared about my pregnancy for no reason, despite the fact that I had faith in God. So that video literally motivated me to run to God in more prayers, so I told God ‘See the way Dairy of a kitchen lover is thanking you and rejoicing with her family, I need you to help me follow through with this pregnancy and let me birth my babies in good health, so that I can tell the world that you did this for me.I had a seamless, no-stress kind of pregnancy. I never had constipation or those little complications others go through. I literally had sound health, my BP was always normal and my sugar level was normal”.“Dear God, I Have Boasted About You, Please Don’t Fail Me” This was one major prayer I prayed throughout my pregnancy I actually had it on my alarm as a daily reminder.God granted me a smooth sail despite the fact that twin pregnancy is considered high risk, so I’m out here giving honor to whom it belongs “All Glory Belongs to God Almighty, Olodumare, Aran ni ba ni lo”@diaryofakitchenlover pregnancy announcement video motivated me more.Don’t Let Fear stop you from Trusting God (especially when you are not sure of how he will make it happen”.

In other news, The Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi has called on Yoruba monarchs to end banditry and kidnapping in the region. He urged them to employ supernatural powers to defend themselves and their lands against marauders.
This is as he warned those who were uninterested in such powers to abdicate their thrones.
The monarch addressed them on Thursday at the first Yoruba Security Summit, which was called in response to rising insecurity in the Southwest and the terrible deaths of traditional rulers in Ekiti and Kwara states.
Following the conference, the Ooni of Ife issued and signed a communique with other monarchs, including the Deji of Akure, Oba Aladetoyinbo Ogunlade; the Owa-Ajero of Ijero Ekiti, Oba Joseph Adewole; and the Akarigbo of Remo, Oba Babatunde Adewale Ajayi.
The monarchs of the Southwest region agreed to some measures to combat insecurity, including organizing regional security summits led by Southwest governors and empowering and strengthening the Amotekun Corps with improved training, funding, and modern weapons to address local security issues.
They emphasized the significance of traditional values and the role of Yoruba traditional rulers in preventing banditry and abduction.
The statement also encouraged the inclusion of traditional rulers in the national security framework, as well as the strengthening of the legal system to guarantee that violators are punished appropriately.
The summit closed with a demand for strong support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s government, as well as an emphasis on the importance of holding frequent Yoruba security conferences to address developing security dynamics.
The communiqué partly reads:
“Yoruba people should take full control of their forests, homelands and farmlands.
“The Yoruba, especially traditional rulers, should make recourse to their natural resources, including natural powers, to combat banditry and kidnapping; that Yoruba Obas should not jettison traditional values.
“Government at all levels should recognise the roles of traditional rulers and factor them into the national security architecture.
“The entire Obas in Yorubaland should work in unison to ward off the evils of banditry and kidnappings, as each of the states can only succeed in chasing the marauders to another state.
“Any Oba who is disinterested in Yoruba culture and custom should abdicate his throne for anyone who is deeply versed and interested in Yoruba traditions.”
