Funke Akindele, a popular Nigerian actress and director, alongside Fashion stylist Toyin Lawani have come to the defense of reality star Faith Morey after she was body-shamed by a Galaxy TV presenter.
Morey had recently acquired new breasts through surgery.
During the show’s entertainment section, Kenny Obinna, a presenter at the station had expressed his disdain for Faith’s breast augmentation operation, stating that he preferred ladies with natural bodies.
In his own words:
“I don’t like a woman who has gone under the knife, I will never ever support it. So Faith Morey if I am the last man in this world, I’ll never look at your side, I prefer to marry yam than marry you.”
In an Instagram post on Wednesday, February 21, Funke Akindele expressed her support for Faith, calling her attractive and sexy, while Toyin chastised the presenter for his statement.
Funke Akindele writes:
“We love you FAITH. You’re gorgeous and sexy. @moreyfaith.”
Toyin Lawani added.
“Not when you look like the yam you are talking about fattty plssssssssss move,”
Faith Morey co-stars with Toyin Lawani, Iyabo Ojo, Laura Ikeji, Tania Omotayo, and Mariam Timmer in the reality show The Real Housewives of Lagos.
Recall that the Nigerian model and reality personality has confessed that she paid a lot of money to have big boobs, which is why she keeps displaying them.
In an appearance on “Body Positivity” on News Central, the reality star said that, as a youngster, she was a tomboy with no boobs.
She revealed that when she was growing up, she participated in several physical activities, like basketball, which made it impossible for her to develop boobs as a normal female would.
Faith Morey, on the other hand, stated that because she desired larger boobs, she had to have surgery to get the desired size; hence, she will not conceal what she paid a lot of money to obtain.
