Nigerian actor, Williams Uchemba has cried out on his Instagram page.

He stated that people are losing their lives not because they are sick, but rather because of the cost of living and not having the money to look after their health.

According to him, the economy is not sustainable. He said people are afraid of selling their goods because tomorrow the price will double.

He also complained that the bag of cement is now 8k. Even people who find love are not able to marry because of the price of things they would use for the marriage.

He wrote:

“SOS: What is happening in Nigeria? The Economy is not sustainable again. I understand the Government is working to resolve this but we need a quick intervention asap.”

imoh_engwoh:

Nigerians. We’re very funny people. Someone lends a voice to what is hitting us all, and we’re all being unnecessarily defensive. You’re talking eeeehnn, it’s a worldwide thing and not only Nigeria. Do you know how vulnerable we are already as a country. It’s a worldwide thing but in some African countries, I mean this same Africa, some have adjusted their wages. They have 24 hours electricity atleast to power their businesses, these are not oil producing countries. Do you know an intern in SA, Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda is paid way higher than some experienced hires in Nigeria. There’s global economic downturn, but we’re more vulnerable.

Still no protest meaning we are enjoying it so lets continue. We shall learn

askupweyrealtor:

I am blessed in this economy even if dollar to a naira is N2k. I see people buy acres of land, build and buy fine houses with ease. The bible say when others are saying there is casting down I am saying there’s lifting up Job 22:29.

ifieminewton:

When y’all are ready to hit the street, let me know.

Even if you want to buy food in small quantities, that you want to manage. Paint of rice: 6,000, paint of beans: 5,500, kilo of titus: 3800. Like you will go to buy food stuff, your chest will be paining you!😢

Where is Eniola Badmus and Seyi Law that aggressively insulted their fellow Nigerian brothers and sisters on top this matter..

colmac_auto_transport:

The most scary part is that this Administration doesn’t look like they know a way out of this.

Clowns would still come here to say everything he just said isn’t as bad as it sounds.

In other news, Nigerian doctor, Chinonso Egemba has narrated his battle with a brain tumour.

The medical expert popularly called Aproko Doctor, said he was ready for death during his 2022 brain tumour surgery.

According to him, the brain tumour diagnosis left him partially blind.

He did, however, praise Tayo Ojo, a Nigerian neurosurgeon, for being essential in his recuperation.

On the #WithChude podcast, Aproko Doctor talked about some of the worst times leading up to his brain surgery.

Egemba stated that he had discreetly “written all the passwords of my banking apps somewhere in case he died during the procedure”.

He stated that he grew afraid after learning that he had to consent to his procedure within 10 minutes.

“In my entire life, I never saw that coming. There is no book where one of the chapters would be my battle with a brain tumour. It could be another thing but not a brain tumour. That is why I said things happen when they happen,” he said.

“I decided that I was not going to do the surgery due to the fear. My father came and put his hands on my shoulder and said don’t worry Nonso everything is going to be alright. I remember anger from the depth of my belle. In my mind, I was like if you do not get out… This is not the time when you talk.

“I had quietly written all the passwords of my banking apps somewhere. I was preparing in case I would die.

“And then there was also the possibility of never getting my eyesight back. At a point when the doctor told me ‘these were the options available for you’ I did not know what to do again.”
