Carter Efe, a well-known comedian, has revealed that singer Zlatan helped him when he had nothing.
According to him, the singer helped him without anyone knowing.
He asserts that those who film themselves while providing aid to the underprivileged are merely making money off of their suffering.
When he wasn’t famous, he said, Zlatan used to give him money and clothing.
He said Zlatan used to provide him cash and clothing support when he was still in need, but no one knew about it since he didn’t record a video to make his kind deed public.
He said:
“These content creators who make videos of people they’re helping are just making money off the sufferings of these helpless people. They’re not genuine. When I was nothing, Zlatan used to give me clothes and money. In fact, he gave me everything. He didn’t do a video so the world could see what he was doing.Tunde Ednut once gave me 1 million naira and warned me not to tell anybody. These things taught me a lot. This is why when I help anybody, I don’t make noise or say anything about it.”
In other news, Nigerian musician Bella Shmurda has revealed the reason for his choice to abstain from consuming marijuana, noting its relationship with anxiety.
He stated that he quit marijuana four years ago because he was frightened of what lay ahead.
He remarked that contrary to popular belief, consuming marijuana boosts creativity, but it was not beneficial in his case.
He did admit that he still smokes cigarettes.
In the most recent episode of the ‘In My Opinion’ podcast,
Bella Shmurda remarked:
“I don’t smoke igbo [weed]. I used to but I started having anxieties smoking weed. I started getting scared of the future.
“So, four years ago, I stopped smoking weed. I just take cigarettes and liquor.”
“Everything I was doing when I was smoking weed, I was having anxieties. At a point, it was affecting me in the studio. I would just be lost in the middle. It wasn’t working anymore. I just have to stop. That was earlier in my career. It wasn’t helping.”
