DMW signee, Logos Olori has revealed what he did before Davido discovered him.
In a recent interview with CoolFM, Logos Olori revealed that he was in everyone’s direct message before being signed to singer Davido’s record firm.
Logos Olori claimed to have even sent a direct message to producer Donjazzy, but he did not receive a reply.
The singer went on to say that he hadn’t even attempted to get in touch with Davido to get signed. But only Davido had recognized his potential among artists.
Logos Olori talked about how he had fought with Burnaboy, pursued Olamide for his future, and ultimately signed with Davido. He went on to describe how challenging it was to get around the Nigerian music scene.
Now, keep in mind that Logos Olori bragged yesterday about why Davido deserves accolades from Nigerians. The up-and-coming musician praised his employer and senior colleague Davido for his impact on the music business.
He said on the X-Platform that Davido’s influence should be acknowledged by the majority of Nigerians. He went on to say that the musician was now normalizing and promoting songwriting as a craft. He asserted confidently that anything Davido touches becomes gold.
Meanwhile, Nigerian Afrobeat musician David Adeleke, better known by his stage name Davido appreciated international star singer, Rihanna for gifting him some expensive items last week.
The DMW boss, who is well-known for both his charitable work and chart-topping tunes, informed his followers of the wonderful news on his official Instagram page.
Rihanna, the Barbadian singer-turned-business entrepreneur, gave Davido a unique box including her exclusive Fenty X Puma edition sneakers, which sparked great interest among fans and followers.
The overjoyed Davido shared his appreciation on social media, posting a photo of the elegant and desired shoes and a personal note from Rihanna.
“Oshey @badgalriri,” Davido wrote.
Recall also that Davido recently showed evidence that he has fulfilled his promise to donate N300 million to orphanages in Nigeria.
Etikonaija pointed out a day ago that Davido has pledged orphans in Nigeria amid biting economic hardship.
The artist said that he would contribute N300 million to orphans across Nigeria.
The musician stated that he will make the money through his organization, The David Adeleke Organization, as his yearly tribute to the nation.
He has now taken to Twitter to show evidence.
Davido, who made the revelation via his X account on Tuesday, vowed to reveal the payout specifics tomorrow, Wednesday.
He wrote:
“I and my foundation pledge the sum of 300 million Naira to orphanages around Nigeria… as my yearly contribution to the Nation.. details of disbursement tomorrow.”
A netizen who did not believe him compared the singer to Funke Akindele’s film “She Must Be Obeyed.”
He said that the singer was merely doing things for publicity.
