Rapper Odumodublvck has supported Grammy winner, Burna Boy.
This is as he mocked his senior colleague, Eedris Abdulkareem, over a recent comment he made.
Eedris had asserted in a recent interview that he was the driving force behind the movement that brought Wizkid, Davido, Burna Boy, and other musicians worldwide prominence.
He took full responsibility for their success, claiming that his 2005 uprising against the unfair treatment of Nigerian musicians by concert promoters—particularly his altercation with 50 Cent and his entourage—was a turning point in their career.
Reacting, Odomodublvck said that Wizkid, Burna Boy, and others reached the top because of their hustle rather than anybody else’s efforts.
He said that although inspiration might come from anybody, God alone deserves all the credit for having opened the road for others.
Odumodublvck declared that only God, not a single human figure in music history, had opened the path for him. He continued by saying that everyone should give themselves credit for opening doors for him in the future, pointing out that nobody was around while he was in the Dengi.
He wrote:
“EVERYBODY DEY CLAIM PAVE THE WAY.
EVERYBODY TRYNNA CLAIM GODS GLORY
NONE OF YOU NIGGAS PAVED THE WAY FOR NO ONE.
NOBODY PAVED THE WAY FOR WIZKID OR BURNA. NOBODY
THEY HUSTLED.
ALL OF US GET OUR INDIVIDUAL STRUGGLES AND REALITY.
INSPIRED? YES.
PAVED THE WAY? THATS GOD.
NO HUMAN BEING IN THE HISTORY OF MUSIC HAS PAVED THE WAY FOR ODUMODUBLVCK. THATS GOD.
SO TOMORROW MAKE NO OG CON DEY TALK SAY E PAVE WAY FOR ME, CAUSE BROS.
