Nollywood star, Iyabo Ojo has criticized the government of President Bola Tinubu.
The Yoruba movie actress recently posted on Instagram about the current hardship and hunger in the country.
Attached to her post was a screenshot from a tweet she posted about how people are struggling daily, and how she is afraid to read her messages since 90% of the comments she receives are gloomy.
People feel comfortable enough to express their problems with her, which is not surprising given that she frequently gives away money to followers online.
In her caption, Iyabo Ojo wrote:
“ The nation bleeds already I pray this present government will get up from the comfort of their riches and high horses, roll their sleeves and do right on time, hope is no longer hoping, tolerance is no longer tolerating, and patience is no longer patient, there is serious hunger & anger in the land. …. Emi l’okan, o ti kan a ra llu ba yii o”
Iyabo Ojo’s caption for her post is an obvious call for aid and a message to the government, imploring them to resolve the matter, as she mentioned there. Her caption implies that the administration is ineffective and that they must step beyond their comfort zone to solve the country’s problems.
Iyabo Ojo is one of several celebrities who have recently spoken out against Nigeria’s challenges. Price inflation appears to have touched everyone, including those who are considered wealthy and comfortable.
In other news, a Nigerian woman has started a social media dispute with her recent statement against award-winning Nigerian rapper Davido.
The Instagram user known as ogheneroc claims to have had coitus with Davido.
Not stopping there, the Instagram user added that she hopes to have canal knowledge of Davido by the end of 2024.
The middle-aged Nigerian woman disclosed this even though Davido is married to Chioma and has children with her.
The lady wrote with her entire chest: “I must knack Davido this year.”
